Alertacall and the concept of the Safety Confirmation System was created by our company founder James Batchelor after a period of growing concern for the well being of his grandmother and various other relatives who lived on their own. Alertacall is the first Safety Confirmation Service meaning that it is a 'fully managed' Safety Confirmation System available to the public.
Whilst looking for services that would appropriately suit the needs of his family James discovered that no service existed to help confirm the well being of his relatives on a daily basis. As a consequence of this, James Batchelor created the Safety Confirmation System and was careful to ensure that it met four very important criteria:

The company was incorporated in 2004 and is based near Grange-Over-Sands in Cumbria, England. The area is a popular retirement destination and provides the company with excellent opportunities to continually engage in dialogue with the types of people for whom the service is developed. The business is still very much a "family affair" with many of the original staff being family members and close personal friends of the company founder who is an experienced business person and technology entrepreneur.
