Optional extras

If you would like to confirm your safety twice a day, for example in the morning and again at night this costs an extra £4.00 (£3.40 with VAT Relief) a month.

In the unlikely event we need to make more than two Safety Confirmation Routines in a month there is a charge of £2.00 (£1.70 with VAT Relief) a time to cover the cost.

Payment methods

The setup fee is normally paid by cheque and the monthly subscription by Direct Debit at the start of each month. If you prefer you can pay in advance by personal cheque.

Are you eligible for VAT Relief?

If you or whoever will be using the Alertacall service have been diagnosed as having a chronic medical condition or are on long term medication then you are eligible for VAT Relief. This means VAT will be charged on the Alertacall service at 0% instead of 17.5%. To claim VAT Relief you must complete and sign one of our VAT Relief Eligibility Declaration Forms and return this to us when you join.

You are definitely eligible for VAT Relief on Alertacall if you have diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, epilepsy, heart disease, angina, high blood pressure and many other medical conditions. Please telephone us for advice if you are unsure as to whether or not you are eligible.

In the likely event you do not feel Alertacall is right for you during the first 28 days so long as you return the Alertacall Telephone and packaging in 'as new' condition we will give you a full refund less our postage costs. We reserve the right to make other charges against your refund to cover any costs if the Alertacall Telephone or packaging is damaged or for some reason a material amount of our time is required to handle your refund.
