Customer Service Team Member Job Description – based in our Warrington office 

Full Time / School-time hours also available

Our Full Time Hours are: Average weekly hours – 31.3, 9.5 hours a day, on a shift pattern of 3 days one week, 4 days the next with alternate weekends.

What do our Customer Service Team Members do?

The work you will do at Alertacall is meaningful and makes a real difference to our thousands of customers. Each day, we make contact with older and vulnerable people across the UK as part of our service. We speak to these customers over the phone to confirm everything is okay at their property, help them report repairs and speak to their housing officers and family members.

What skills do I need?

  • A clear and friendly telephone manner with the ability to make empathetic phone calls to older and vulnerable people.
  • Computer skills and keen attention to detail when inputting customer data.
  • Great listening skills so that you can understand and act upon a customer’s needs.
  • The ability to follow our priorities, processes and procedures
  • A strong desire to reassure and help.

Please note that we are open 365 days per year to provide support to our vulnerable customers. This role involves alternate weekend working, bank holiday shifts and festive working.
