Head of Partnerships

Salary: £32k – £40k + bonus, depending on past partnerships experience

Location: Home based, anywhere in the UK

Alertacall is an innovative provider of services in the social housing, health and social care sectors driven by improving the lives of higher needs individuals. We increase levels of contact, improve health and safety, and reduce social isolation. Today, around 20,000 individuals benefit from our services.

Due to market changes brought about by ‘Digital Switchover’ we are creating an exciting new role to work with partners to introduce a recently introduced range of services.

What you’ll be doing…

The successful applicant will work with a range of intermediaries to promote the services that Alertacall provides, which ultimately leads to the acquisition of new social housing providers. This includes enabling partners to enhance their own propositions and help them to be more successful in gaining and retaining their clients.

  • Reporting to the Business Development Director the main responsibilities include:
  • Raise awareness of Alertacall and the services the company provides to potential partners.
  • Foster trusting relationships with organisations that work with providers in our target sectors and that are able to raise awareness our services, including:
    – consultancies
    – agencies and intermediaries
    – alarm receiving centres
  • Develop propositions for introducers that lead to the introduction of our services. Become the single point of contact for established partners for the development of new business with Alertacall.
  • Manage the procurement frameworks where Alertacall is listed and seek new frameworks

Who we’re looking for…

The ideal candidate must have several years past partnership experience, or have worked in a sales or consultancy capacity, gained in the social housing, health or care sector. Experience at developing strong, trusting working relationships both with work colleagues and outside of the organisation is essential. We actively seek people who are committed to helping individuals of higher needs and share our company values.

If you are a great team player, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and have the drive to work independently this could be the role for you.

The role will be home based, requiring regular travel across the UK.

Digital Marketing Executive

This is an amazing opportunity to join a passionate and progressive organisation

Alertacall is seeking a creative and enthusiastic marketing all-rounder with a focus on digital marketing campaign planning and implementation. You’ll be joining an award winning private technology company, with a social focus, and during a period of significant growth.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will be to promote and raise awareness of Alertacall’s market leading propositions to create business opportunities and build brand loyalty. While the role encompasses both B2B and B2C digital marketing, over the first 12 months you will primarily work closely with other members of the Business Development team to implement a range of marketing activities targeting the social housing sector.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the company websites – improving the functionality and design to increase traffic and enquiries.
  • Creating engaging content across a range of marketing channels.
  • Creating and implementing email marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the integration of digital marketing platforms with CRM sales software.
  • Increasing Alertacall’s online presence through social media channels, digital advertising and digital PR. 
  • Promoting and supporting the delivery of virtual and live events.
  • Working with other areas of the business and acting as proposition lead for the private consumer service.

What we’re looking for

You will be an excellent communicator who has a flexible approach to work and is able to adapt to the business needs of a fast growing technology company. A great team player, you will have a positive, can do attitude, as well as the self discipline to work independently. You will also demonstrate that you are able to confidently handle and analyse data from activity and have the attention to detail required to deliver quality campaigns.

  • BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field and / or 2+ years in a similar marketing role.
  • B2B digital marketing experience essential, B2C desirable.
  • IT Literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, and ideally Google suite. 
  • Excellent written English, experience of producing marketing content.
  • Experience in social media communications, including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
  • Experience using CMS and email marketing platforms.
  • CRM software experience is desirable.
  • Project management experience is desirable.

It is expected the majority of the role will be home based with 1 – 2 days a week required in either our Windermere or Warrington office. You must have a car and be willing to stay away from home on occasion.

Salary and benefits

£22,000 – £28,000 per annum dependent on experience.
Full time position.

Full stack software developer

A fantastic opportunity for a talented Full-Stack Software Developer to become part of our team based in beautiful Windermere, extending the platform that powers our unique business and helping us create superb new products that will improve lives. The role offers a high degree of freedom to explore emergent technologies. This role is home based with the occasional need to travel.

You will need proven experience of bringing software projects to life within an agile team using Python, AngularJS, RESTful services/microservices and various other technologies like Node.js that are used in modern web applications. You will also be supporting migration between technologies.

An interest or real experience in the design of software architecture would be an advantage as well as leading on projects from user story through to production. We’re looking for smart and likeable people who enjoy problem solving and making the world a better place.

Working pattern

The technology team is based in Windermere so there would be an expectation that you could be in the office on a regular basis, however the exact location is flexible due to the current climate. You would also from time to time be part of an on-call rota supporting the software platform.
