Current opportunities

Head of Sales

This is an amazing opportunity to shape a newly created position within a passionate and fast growing organisation.

Alertacall is an innovative provider of services in the social housing, health and social care sectors driven by improving the lives of higher needs individuals. We increase levels of contact, improve health and safety, and reduce social isolation. Today, around 20,000 individuals benefit from our services.

Due to market changes brought about by ‘Digital Switchover’ we are creating an exciting new role to accelerate the growth of the company by introducing our market leading proposition to social housing providers across the UK.

Based on a raft of innovations introduced in 2021 we anticipate doubling the size of Alertacall in the next 3 years, and we are seeking an ambitious individual to spearhead this growth.

What you’ll be doing…
The successful applicant will manage a small team of Client Development Managers, who promote the services that Alertacall provides, and which ultimately leads to the acquisition of new social housing provider clients. This includes introducing our more flexible alternative to hard wired (‘Warden call’) alarm systems in sheltered and supported housing.

Reporting to the Business Development Director the main responsibilities include:

  • Raise awareness of Alertacall and the services the company provides to potential clients.
  • Foster trusting relationships with organisations in our target sectors.
  • Co-ordinate the conversion of leads into sales prospects, who we are then able to provide proposals for our services.
  • Lead the sales team to accelerate the number of new Alertacall clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure we deliver additional social value for our clients.

Who we’re looking for…
The ideal candidate must have several years experience in the social housing or related sectors, and have had previous sales responsibilities. This includes being able to demonstrate a track record of securing new contracts, ideally in the supported housing sector. Experience of telecare, in particular, will be major advantage.

We are seeking someone who establishes strong working relationships with work colleagues, and we actively recruit people who are committed to helping individuals of higher needs, and share our company values.

If you are a great team player, have the hunger to deliver growth, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude this could be the role for you.

The role will be home based, requiring regular travel across the UK.

What to do next…
If you’re looking for a meaningful role and want to be part of a fantastic team, send us a covering email (or a link to a video) setting out why you think you’d be perfect for this role, including a CV that sets out your experience to date. Email jobs@alertacall.com

Be sure to tell us something about your own likes, interests and ambitions in life, as well as what attracted you to this role and our organisation.

Over to you…
