Alertacall, experts in digitally enhanced daily contact, that confirms health and safety, has partnered with national domiciliary care provider Right at Home to launch a new service, known as Right at Home Lite, enabling even more people to continue living independently in the comfort of their own home. The service will be especially valuable at this time, when the coronavirus has restricted so much movement, and more people need to self-isolate.
Right at Home offers a wide range of services to adults including companionship, personal care, medication reminders, transportation, hospital to home services and 24/7 live-in care. The addition of the Right at Home Lite service will be a stepping-stone for those considering homecare, and can also give families peace of mind in between their loved ones’ care calls. The service is initially being trialled in 3 of Right at Home’s offices – Right at Home South Cheshire, Right at Home South Liverpool and Right at Home GF, in Surrey and Hampshire.
The Lite service is being offered in partnership with Alertacall to confirm health and safety, detect changing needs and improve customer care. The company already provides services to tens of thousands of older people, and other individuals with higher needs, across the UK.
Clients are given a specially designed device with an OKEachDay button, which they can press once a day, or more often, as required. This sends a signal to Alertacall which confirms the client is OK, and that they are able to exchange information and prompts. Clients who choose not to engage digitally will receive a call from a trained adviser from the Alertacall team. If the client cannot be reached then family, or other contacts the client has chosen, are notified.
The two businesses share the mutual goals of improving quality of life and helping customers retain independence in their own homes.
