Join Alertacall at its second Ideas lab of 2021, held in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Housing. This session focuses on the role of property access management in managing tenant safety, how to improve resident engagement on anti social behaviour and crime prevention, and looks at the latest in door entry technology as well as best practice adoption for housing providers.

Entitled ‘Tenant safety – starts on the doorstep’, the free to attend online event takes place on Thursday 24 June 2021, 10:30am to 12 noon.

Security and reliability are paramount for social housing providers when it comes to managing access for individual dwellings and communal entryways, particularly for older residents or those with additional needs. Modern door entry solutions are high specification systems that offer increased functionality and also have a central role to play. The most advanced options deliver video entry using a wireless network, and are significantly easy to install with little disruption and infrastructure outlay.

Speakers will be confirmed in the next week.

You will be able to submit questions to the speakers during the session and they will be able to discuss the issues raised further with other delegates in the networking lounge.

Learning outcomes for the session:

  • The wider issues of property access for managing resident safety in the home.
  • How to improve tenant communication on these issues
  • Features and benefits of modern door entry technology – and how housing providers can take advantage of them.
  • The factors to consider when implementing wireless door entry systems, including WiFi deployment.
