Alertacall awarded a place on ESPO framework for TEC

Alertacall is delighted to have been awarded a place on the ESPO Framework 203 for Technology Enabled Care (TEC) products and services, including telehealth and telecare.

ESPO is a public sector owned professional buying organisation (PBO), specialising in providing a wide range of goods and services to the public sector for over 40 years. They offer a comprehensive, one-stop shop solution of over 25,000 catalogue products, 120 frameworks and bespoke procurement services.

Through the ESPO TEC framework, local authorities and social housing providers will be able to access a number of Alertacall’s services, including Housing Proactive, which have been designed to promote independent living and create safer, smarter and more connected homes.

Housing Proactive combines digital engagement (through a portable touchscreen device with in-built connectivity) and contact from an expert team who cares, delivering enhanced housing management for older residents and individuals with higher needs.

Housing Proactive is also available with a range of additional service options, including WiFi, door entry, video calling and smoke alarms. These services deliver a digital switchover ready solution which can be implemented within a matter of weeks (as it requires little hardwiring or cabling) and provide a cost effective alternative to hardwired alarm systems in sheltered accommodation.

Alertacall also has a selection of digital wearable alarms available, including GPS and falls detector features, for residents who will regularly wear these devices and who may require additional support.

The framework is divided into two Lots:

• Lot 1 Technology Enabled Care Products and Services Catalogue (Products and commoditised Services) for direct call off
• Lot 2 Technology Enabled Care Services (outsourced services including Products as part of the Service) which is accessed by further competition
