Alertacall will be showcasing Housing Proactive, its housing management service for improving contact with older residents and individuals with higher needs, at Scotland’s Housing Festival 2020. Delegates will be able to meet members of the team on stand 102.

CIH Scotland’s Housing Festival is Scotland’s biggest housing event and takes place this year in the EICC in Edinburgh on 3rd and 4th March 2020. The conference features expert keynote speakers on a range of topics, including:

  • Safe as Houses – the impact that housing has on health, wellbeing and reducing inequalities
  • Housing to 2040 – which focuses on the Scottish Government’s vision for housing in Scotland for the next 20 years.

Housing Proactive is being used by multiple housing providers across Scotland and receives outstanding feedback from both housing staff and residents. The service increases contact with residents in a way which gives them more flexibility in how they engage with their housing service and helps to save staff time and resource. In 2019, Housing Proactive was shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Housing Innovation’ award by CIH Scotland in a joint submission with the Wheatley Group, Scotland’s leading housing, care and property management group.

On the Housing Proactive stand, delegates will have the opportunity to view the touchscreen devices provided to residents and see first hand its advanced messaging capability. The touchscreens are fitted with any network sim cards, meaning they will work with or without WiFi and are designed to help improve digital engagement amongst older residents.
