Alertacall is delighted to be appointed as a preferred supplier to Consortium Procurement’s services Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) framework. The framework will run for four years and is due to expire in December 2023.

Consortium Procurement (CP) is the procurement arm of the Northern Housing Consortium. CP has been providing public sector bodies with a compliant and trusted procurement route for over 40 years. All the frameworks are OJEU compliant and are available across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It now represents over 400 member organisations throughout the UK.

The TECS framework offers local authorities, ALMOs and associations that provide social housing with another means with which to access Alertacall’s technology products and services. This includes Housing Proactive, which is designed to increase contact with older residents and individuals with higher needs for more effective housing management.

Under LOT 1 of the TECS framework, organisations will be able to access Alertacall’s full range of digitally enhanced daily services that confirm health and safety, detect changing needs and improve customer care. The devices available, including a specially developed telephone and touchscreen, all have Alertacall’s unique OKEachDay button, and make it easy for residents to collect news, updates and other important information in relation to their property or tenancy. Issued as part of the Housing Proactive service, housing staff are also able to access online management reports based on service interactions to help identify changing housing needs, while also creating cost and time-saving efficiencies.

Martin Cutbill, director at Alertacall, commented:

“The Northern Housing Consortium framework is an excellent opportunity for us to enable housing providers to efficiently access the full range of Alertacall’s services. These have all been designed to help meet the challenges of providing housing to an ageing population, or to other individuals who have higher needs. Our services also provide many additional benefits such as tracking occupancy and exchanging information with residents up to 365 days a year. Importantly, all of Alertacall’s services require no hard wiring, and our devices meet the requirements of the forthcoming digital switchover in 2025, unlike many analogue systems currently in place.”
