Alertacall to exhibit their award-winning technology at two CIH events this May!

Join us at two major events with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in May. Housing Brighton 2022 from the 10 – 11 May 2022 at Hilton Brighton Metropole and the Scotland Housing Festival from 19 – 20 May 2022 at Hall 2 of the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow.

At each event, we will be showcasing Alertacall’s award-winning housing technology and services, which are all designed to increase resident safety, promote better communication and create more digitally connected homes.

Taking centre stage is our portable touchscreen device. It is an easy to set up device (simply plug it in to the mains), which connects to several mobile networks and enables residents to interact with a range of services, such as the OKEachDay system for housing, repair reporting, and enhanced messaging. 

Connecting the device to Wi-Fi allows extra features to become available, including video calling and our secure video door entry system (linking this to the portable touchscreen means residents can answer the door from the comfort of their armchair). 

We will also be presenting a range of additional services, including our comprehensive fire safety system, OKEachDay housing system and digital telecare, all of which can be combined to provide a cost-effective alternative to replace outdated hardwired alarms and future-proof your housing service.

Housing Brighton, 10-11 May, Hilton Brighton Metropole – Stand 8

This is a jam-packed two-day event, with a wide variety of housing industry professionals from the South East in attendance, allowing you to explore and discuss the opportunities, challenges, and digital innovations in the housing sector.

Alertacall works with many organisations in the area, including Metropolitan Thames Valley Homes (MTVH) in South West London and Gateway Housing Association in London. 

Another valued customer in Norfolk, Saffron Housing Trust, has had Alertacall’s services installed since 2020. During the lockdown, Project Manager Suzy Horth said that Alertacall’s technology allowed them to communicate with tenants in new ways, send out regular messages and determine issues related to the resident or their homes, all while staff worked remotely. We will be showcasing our innovative housing technology and digital telecare services that revolutionise the way the care sector operates in preparation for the Digital Switchover in 2025.

Scotland Housing Festival, 19 – 20 May, SEC Glasgow – Stand 90

For our second event of the month, we are heading to Scotland!

Alertacall works with a large number of social housing landlords across Scotland, such as Wheatley Group, which is a keynote sponsor of this year’s conference. 

We met another provider, Berwickshire Housing at the 2019 festival and they went on to, introduce Alertacall’s services into their properties in early 2021. Speaking about the project at the time, Housing Services Manager Julie Riley commented that the installation was being used as one way of dealing with loneliness amongst their older tenants in sites across the Scottish borders.
