Alertacall will once again be at TAI, the Chartered Institute of Housing (‘CIH’) Cymru’s annual flagship conference, which features the largest housing exhibition in Wales. Delegates will be able to find out more on stand 15 about Alertacall’s Housing Proactive service, which won in the ‘New Ideas and Approaches’ category at the 2019 Welsh housing awards alongside Caerphilly based housing provider, United Welsh. Housing Proactive, a housing management system, has significantly improved how older residents at United Welsh engage with their housing service and helped to promote independent living.

TAI is being held at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, on 29 – 30 April 2020. The event this year focuses on how social housing providers can restore the balance between different housing tenures, ensuring that regardless of what people’s aspirations may be, everyone can find themselves in a high quality, affordable home, connected to their communities and the services that matter most to them. This year’s conference falls at a critical time – a year on from the Welsh Government’s independent affordable housing review report launch, and year before the Welsh Assembly elections in 2021.

On the Alertacall stand, those attending the event can find out more about the partnership with United Welsh and how Housing Proactive has increased tenant satisfaction while delivering service efficiencies. Housing Proactive is used by around 50 housing providers across the UK and combines ingenious technology and a highly trained team to increase contact with residents for more effective housing management. The system helps to improve repairs performance, ensures better resident communication and provides housing staff with a range of valuable housing management reports, including occupancy tracking, which they access online.

Delegates will also be able to take a closer look at the Housing Proactive touchscreen device which is being used by housing providers to help older residents start their digital journey. The touchscreens are fitted with any network sim cards, meaning they will work with or without WiFi, and have advanced messaging capability.
