Who is Lynsey and what is your role?
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day is quite varied! It often starts with a morning stand-up with my team to review the performance of the contact centre and the priorities for the day. Throughout the day, I attend meetings, support my team through 1:1’s and work on projects to support the people strategy. My focus is always on developing initiatives and finding opportunities to improve the way we do things, empower the team, and create a positive and high performing place of work.
What do you like most about working at Alertacall?
Outside of Alertacall, what makes you tick?
Outside of work, I’m passionate about spending quality time with family and friends, whether it’s enjoying a home-cooked meal or a long walk that ends with a well-deserved hot chocolate. I have a love for creativity and occasionally dabble in crafts; one day I’d like to take up pottery and learn sign language. When I’m not exploring my creative side, I love to unwind with a good book and a cosy moment to myself.
Tell us one thing we might not know about you
One thing you may not know about me is that my husband and I took on a major building project and completely renovated our home. We dismantled and remodelled the house from top to bottom and did the majority of the work ourselves. Along the way, I discovered I’m pretty good at mixing cement and pointing stone walls!
