Warrington Youth Zone

Towards the end of 2025, we joined Warrington Youth Zone as an Impact Patron🎉

Warrington Youth Zone

Warrington Youth Zone is a purpose-built facility for young people aged 7–19, or up to 25 for those with a disability. Open seven days a week, it offers more than 20 activities each evening, including rock climbing, football, art, music, podcasting, and boxing. Beyond recreation, the Youth Zone delivers programmes focused on mental health, confidence-building, and employability. Its mission is to ensure every young person has Somewhere to go, Someone to Talk To, and Something To Do.

In addition to financial support, Alertacall’s Founder and CEO, James Batchelor MBE, and Emma Dalzell, Head of Marketing, will be volunteering their time with the Youth Zone’s employability programme. Their visits will offer young people invaluable insight into entrepreneurship and work, covering topics such as creativity, becoming an inventor, and personal branding. Their involvement aims to inspire and empower young people to develop confidence and broaden their aspirations.

We chose to support Warrington Youth Zone as not only is it a minute away from our offices but some of our own fantastic team members have children that attend the Youth Zone, so we’ve heard what a difference it makes to the lives of young people and local families in the area. When we visited, were blown away with what an incredible place it is🌟

We’re proud to stand behind the amazing work Warrington Youth Zone do every single day💜 To find out more, click here.

Trees

Following on from our 20th anniversary project, in which we planted 20,000 trees at Low Fell in the Lake District, on behalf of our customers, in 2025, we planted 5,000 more trees – continuing our commitment to plant a tree for every new customer.

446 Challenge

BlencathraBack in June, we were delighted to sponsor two of the peaks for mental health advocate, Alex Staniforth’s 446 challenge! Alex became the first and fastest person to run and cycle between all 446 mountains in England & Wales in a continuous, self-powered journey! He covered 3,069km on foot and bike, 101,721m of elevation gain– the equivalent of climbing Mt Everest 11.5 times! And did all of this in just 45 days!

One of the peaks we sponsored is the beautiful Blencathra in Alertacall’s home of the Lake District. Some of the Alertacall team climbed the mountain and cheered on the inspirational Alex Staniforth as he reached the summit!

Padgate Community Garden Christmas Tree Light Switch-On

Local to our Warrington Contact Centre is Padgate Community Garden – a lovely garden maintained by volunteers who run working parties on the second Saturday of each month to keep the garden thriving for the community.

We sponsored the Christmas tree lights and some team members braved the terrible weather at the beginning of December and helped to decorate the lovely, huge Christmas tree for the Padgate Community Garden Christmas Tree Light Switch-On.  The weather certainly didn’t dampen spirits as it was a fantastic community event with plenty of joyful music, delicious bakes, warming hot chocolate and sparkling lights!
