Baggy Shanker MP meets Alertacall customer at Places for People Scheme

Our CEO and Founder, James Batchelor MBE, recently had the pleasure of visiting a Places for People scheme and meeting with customer Norman, who is 92 years old and Baggy Shanker, the Member of Parliament for Derby South.

They met to talk about housing for older people and the positive impact Alertacall’s Housing Proactive® service is having at this fantastic independent living scheme. They also had a great chat about the need for more regular contact for older people and preventing the tragedy of undiscovered deaths in social housing.

Norman was the perfect gentleman and as you can see from the below photo, he turned up in a smart suit and had plenty to say, especially some wonderful things about our Housing Proactive® service, including the following:
