Meet the Team – Nikki Colton, On-boarding Coordinator

Who is Nikki and what is your role?

Hi, I’m Nikki. I am the On-boarding Coordinator here at Alertacall.

I co-ordinate the seamless installation of our innovative touchscreens, working closely with both our valued clients and the customers who will benefit from our service. This co-ordination is essential to ensure a smooth transition and a positive experience from the very start.

In this role, I oversee our dedicated team of field engineers who are responsible for the physical installation of our excellent service. I arrange the scheduling, logistics, and technical support for these installations, ensuring that every touchscreen is set up efficiently, correctly, and to the highest standard of quality. My goal is to make the onboarding process as straightforward and positive as possible for everyone involved.

What does a typical day look like?

My work is quite varied. One moment I might be meticulously planning the installation of our services for a Housing Provider. The next, I could be actively at those installations as they happen in customers homes.

I also co-ordinate and schedule the work of our engineers, who are located nationwide. Their vital role involves visiting new residents to install our service and providing explanations to anyone who needs guidance on how to use it.

What do you like most about working at Alertacall?

I enjoy working with the team. Everyone at Alertacall truly cares about the residents on the service. It makes me feel a great sense of pride knowing we are making a difference and helping people stay at home and independent for as long as possible.

Outside of Alertacall, what makes you tick?

Outside of work, I enjoy taking my three children on long hikes and visiting historical sites. El Jem Colosseum in Tunisia is our top pick!
