News from Alertacall plus articles and insights on how to enhance outcomes for people with higher needs in the housing, health and social care sectors.
On Friday 20th September 2024, we celebrated Alertacall’s 20th anniversary with a party at a beautiful Grade II listed building in Warrington – The Parr’s Bank Hotel.
It was great to get our brilliant team together, and we shared plenty of delicious award-winning Indian food from Apna Khana catering, drinks and entertainment, which included a DJ, selfie booth, bhangra dancers and a dhol drummer! Many of the team were up for learning some new moves, while others were happy to cheer on from the sidelines!
We received some lovely birthday messages from our fantastic clients and customers, which we all loved to hear, especially our Contact Centre, who are in regular communication with a lot of our customers.
Our founder and CEO James Batchelor reminisced and shared some of his lovely memories of Alertacall’s journey, from being inspired by his beloved grandma, Eveline, to inventing the ‘I’m OK’ button, working from his spare room at his house in Yorkshire, to later opening various offices in the Northwest with a growing number of employees.
Further along the journey, Alertacall launched its own touchscreens, won The Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation – which involved an exciting trip to Buckingham Palace, created a team in India and planted 20,000 trees on behalf of its customers!
Wow, what a journey it has been! And Alertacall is only just getting started…
