News from Alertacall plus articles and insights on how to enhance outcomes for people with higher needs in the housing, health and social care sectors.
Ben Lambert and Nigel Flower from the Business Development team were delighted to be on the Alertacall stand for the 2 day Asset Management Exhibition on 11th and 12th October 2023 at Coventry Building Society Arena. They enjoyed meeting with those we already work with and getting to know new people from housing associations, local authorities and the social housing sector.
The event attracted over 200 delegates from organisations, such as The National Housing Federation and Chartered Institute of Housing as well as lots of housing associations, local authorities and even tenants and provided a fantastic forum for tackling and discuss challenges, in addition to implementing new ideas for improving the quality, safety and sustainability of the nation’s homes. There were some great workshop sessions, including those from Your Housing and Hexagon Housing Association. The evening also gave the team the opportunity to network more informally, and catch up with people who had been unable to make it to the stand.
Our set up at the Asset Management exhibition meant that we were able to demonstrate many of our services including Beyond Warden Call – an easier, simpler and lower cost ‘warden’ call wireless solution, with a portable touchscreen and self-service. It is designed to meet many of the challenges facing housing providers as ageing warden call systems start to fail, or become obsolete with the imminent digital switchover from analogue devices to digital services.
The key themes over the two-day event were centred around social housing providers being more proactive, knowing their properties, and knowing their customers – and we’re well-placed to help with these critical issues through our digital engagement solutions supported by award-winning human contact.
